John
Edward was born in Long Island, New York in 1969. From
the time he was very young he experienced strange phenomena that he
assumed was normal. He would know things about relatives he had never
met and who died years before he was born; sometimes he would imagine
himself leave his body and hover outside the window looking in. His
large family - and primarily his mother - were very accepting of this
"gift" and as such he grew up just like any other child.
When he
was 15 his mother invited a psychic Lydia Clar to their home for a
session with many of his family members. This was not unusual as John's
mother often had psychic readings. What WAS unusual about this occasion
was that John - a very sceptical person - was eventually persuaded to
have a reading done of his own. His intention was to debunk Lydia, but
she was the first to tell John that he had a psychic gift of his own and
encouraged him to develop it. Over several years John slowly started to
perform psychic readings and learned how to control his abilities.
John
studied Public Administration and Health Care Administration at college
and worked in a hospital for many years. Eventually his career as a
psychic medium became his full and total focus and he now devotes 100%
of his time to this work.
John has
appeared many times on Larry King Live and much of his early fame is
attributed to his many appearances on radio shows across the USA doing
live readings. He went on to publish the book "One Last Time"
in 1998 which was a moderate success (...at the time, but a bestseller
now!) and participated in the HBO special "Life After Life".
He also appeared on many other talk shows during this time including
Leeza, Sally, Entertainment Tonight, Roseanne and several other US talk
shows.
In June
2000 he began production of his very own talk show "Crossing
Over". At first the show was picked up solely by the SciFi channel
- but before long the show took off and John became a bone-fide star.
The show has since been Syndicated by CBS in the US - and is now also
shown on TV in the United Kingdom, Canada, South Africa and Australia!
The show is now filming it's fourth season - on it's third new set - and
with hopefully many more years of success to come...
John published another book titled "Crossing Over"
in 2001 which has
spent many weeks on the New York Times Bestseller's List. He has also
produced several audio books on developing your own psychic abilities
and has written a novel entitled "What If God Were The Sun?".

On
September 1 2003 John released his third book - "After
Life" - which talks about his experiences during seminars in the
United States and during his sell-out January 2003 Australian Tour. This
book is available for sale throughout Australia via Hay
House and most major bookstores...
And now
we learn that John will also be returning to tour Australia again in
February 2004, hot on the heels of his sell-out January 2003 tour! No
doubt ticket sales for this newest tour will be as fast and as furious
as they were last time...
His
success to date has been truly amazing, and a testament to his
down-to-earth approach, positive message and obvious sincerity. Crossing Over is now shown
on free-to-air TV here in Australia on the Ten Network and his January
2003 tour of Australia was a complete sell out and a huge success. We wish John continued success

accomplishments...

Perth, Adelaide, Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne. Tickets went on
